SCORPIONS And LORDI To Perform At Concert To Celebrate 50th Anniversary Of European Union
March 2, 2007According to Charter 97, SCORPIONS and LORDI will perform at a special concert to celebrate the 50th anniversary of signing the Roman treaty, which became the basis for foundation of the European Union
The three-hour concert will take place on March 24 in Brussels, Belgium to the Northeast of the Heisel exhibition complex at the esplanade in front of the famous Atomium installation.
The site for the concert was carefully selected: the Brussels Atomium, a 102-meter high installation, weighing 2400 tons, shaped as the molecule of iron magnified 165 billion times, is the most well-known symbol of Belgium. It was erected in 1958, a year after the signing the Roman treaty, to coincide with the World Exhibition in Brussels.
